Hello everyone!
My name is Becky and I am the voice behind the blog and our Herbal CSA forum. Check the website for more information about the Herbal CSA that is coming soon!
I’m a Mama to two little boys and am currently on a homeschooling adventure with them in what we are calling Wild School. I left my job last year as an environmental educator, a position I’ve held at nature centers in the area since graduating from SUNY ESF in 2008. This has allowed me to keep my children home, teach them my naturalist ways and pursue my additional passions through Mystical Willows, holistic healing arts. There is magick that resides in all of us and through a connection to nature, yoga and reiki it can bloom into something truly beautiful!
Some fun things about me:
~I’m a cancer sun, pisces moon and libra rising.
~I believe in fairies.
~I’m a certified Radiant Warrior Yoga Teacher and love teaching yoga especially outside!
~The only raffle I’ve ever won was for a free Usui Reiki level 1 training and from there I went on to complete the master level in 2011.
~I’m a total science fiction book addict and my favorite place to read as a child was up in our willow tree.
~I read tarot, oracle cards, runes and am a practicing green witch.
I am so grateful to be on this journey with my wonderful friend Laura of Little Yard Farm, as we combine our passions that work in collaboration to bring you closer to the nature right outside your door!
I’ll be posting varied and seasonal nature topics to get you working in rhythm with the changes that are happening around us and how you can benefit from being in tune with our natural world.
