The summer solstice is coming up on the 21st and we have already seen the full life cycle of so many beautiful plants like lilacs and peonies!
Would you like to learn a way to preserve the summer for when you’re feeling down during the winter months? A must try is Flower Ice!
All you need to do is harvest and wash your favorite edible flowers. Fill an ice cube tray halfway with water and add flowers. Put into the freezer until frozen, then add a little more water and pop back into the freezer.
Once they are completely frozen you can store them in freezer bags for up to 6 months! You can add them to your favorite drinks for a burst of summer sweetness whenever you need it.
